About this app

SimpliGPS Go is the companion app for SimpliGPS tracking Portal, location tracking for Small Business and Families, using hardware and Phone Device based tracking. Set up your devices, watch them on a live map, and get alerts — from your phone, wherever you are.

• Teen driver trackers — location plus speeding and hard-braking alerts
• Asset trackers — battery-powered units for trailers, equipment, and cargo
• Phone GPS based tracking — For family members, teen drivers and drivers


IN THE APP
• Live map with current position, speed, and last-reported time for every device
• Trip history and route playback by day
• Geofences — draw a zone around home, school, work, or a jobsite and get arrival and departure alerts
• Driving behavior alerts for speeding, harsh braking, and rapid acceleration
• Stop and idle reports
• Device health — battery level, signal, and connection status
• Share access with other authorized adults on your account

PHONE-BASED TRACKING (OPTIONAL)
In addition to your hardware, SimpliGPS Go can report the location of the phone it is installed on, for situations where a tracker isn't practical — a teen who has left the car on foot, or a field employee without a company vehicle. This is off by default. When it is enabled, the app collects precise and approximate location in the background so tracking continues while the phone is locked, and it shows a persistent notification the entire time tracking is active. The person using the device sees a disclosure and must grant permission before any location is collected, and tracking can be turned off in the app at any time.

LOCATION AND PRIVACY
Location data is visible only to authorized administrators on your SimpliGPS account. We do not sell location data and do not use it for advertising.

SimpliGPS Go is not a covert or hidden tracking tool. It is not for tracking a spouse, partner, or any other adult without their knowledge and consent. Anyone installing this app on another person's phone is responsible for informing them and obtaining consent.

Requires a SimpliGPS account and, for hardware features, an active SimpliGPS device.
