About this app

Keepsake is a private home for the papers and photos that matter - scanned, encrypted, searchable, and organised into folders. It works completely offline, and with Keepsake Cloud it can back up, sync across your phones and be shared with your family, end-to-end encrypted.

• Documents: multi-page scanning with automatic edge detection and perspective correction, saved as PDF
• Printed photos: capture or import old prints - gently restored with automatic contrast and colour recovery
• IDs: front and back, kept together as one item
• Receipts: quick capture with the text made searchable

ORGANISED FROM DAY ONE
• Folders for Home insurance, Car insurance, Licences & IDs, Passports, Medical, Taxes and Warranties & receipts, ready to go
• Rename them, delete the ones you don't need, add your own - deleting a folder never deletes what's in it
• Scan straight into a folder, or move anything with one tap

FIND IT LATER
Every page is read on your device, so you can search the words INSIDE your scans - the store on a receipt, the policy number in a letter, the serial on a warranty. Results are ranked, with matching text shown in context.

ACTUALLY PRIVATE
• Every file is encrypted on your phone with AES-256, using a key stored in your phone's secure hardware
• Scanning and text recognition run on your phone. Nothing leaves it unless you share something yourself or turn on Keepsake Cloud
• Locked behind your fingerprint, with a PIN fallback
• Auto-lock when you leave the app; screenshots blocked; deleting an item securely wipes it
• No ads, no tracking

KEEPSAKE CLOUD (optional subscription)
• End-to-end encrypted backup: documents are encrypted on your phone before upload, so our servers only ever hold data they cannot read
• Sync across your phones - sign in with Google, enter your recovery key, and everything is there
• One vault for the family: invite up to 5 people, covered by your subscription
• Cancel any time; everything stays on your phone
