About this app

The Government of India launched a new Central Sector Scheme, “Pradhan Mantri KIsan SAmman Nidhi (PM-KISAN)” in order to augment the income of the Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs). The scheme was launched in February 2019. It is being implemented by the Department of Agriculture, Co-operation & Farmers Welfare (DAC&FW) under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare through the Department of Agriculture of all the States and Union Territories Governments. Under the Scheme, a direct payment of Rs. 6000 per year will be transferred in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each every four months into the bank accounts of eligible landholding families.

Many measures are being taken by the Government to reach to all eligible beneficiaries under PM-KISAN. Public interfaces have been made available for self registration, checking the payment status, Correction of the name as per Aadhaar as it is being mandatory requirement of the scheme. To broaden the reach further, the PM-KISAN mobile app designed and developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India is being launched.

There is no use of installing this app specifically, it has no features to edit profile or making service requests, even the numbers given for customer care are not reachable, no email ID given to communicate.. sorry to say but in terms of customer experience it has nothing. I request atleast enable the customer care numbers to connect, thanks.

Pathetic. The webpage for ekyc is down since 2 days and last date is tomorrow. I tried installing the app and it is throwing error 'There appears to be some Problem, try again later'. They Can't even develop a good webpage. Even the contact number on website is not working. The contact email id on website is wrong. Last but not the least, that chatbot is useless and was not at all helpfull.

Is this app made for a common layman or to an IT expert, Help desk chat is not working always give us error messages, total time waste. Emails are deactivated so that no one could reach for any help. The helpline numbers given in portal are also inactive. When we approach agricultural officers they can't find or they do not have access to review our online application. If we would submit the originals why we have to upload documents. Very good initiative for Future digital india, all the best.
