One of the worst designed mobile banking apps I've ever seen. The biggest drawbacks for me is that I can't access joint accounts, there is no in-built customer support chat, and I can't apply for any additional services (like opening a fixed deposit account, which instead requires you to leave the app & visit them in-person). It's only saving grace is that it works consistently. I've seen other Kenyan banking apps fail regularly. The NCBA online banking is just as badly designed too. Garbage!

app has been great since I started using it. However, lately, transactions have been taking forever to complete. Even Internal Fund Transfers. Imagine the embarrassment of trying to pay at the supermarket only to realize the funds you transferred an hour ago are yet to reflect in the beneficiary account, yet the source account has already been debited.

Requiring me to turn on location services with the highest accuracy is obnoxious. I see the need for showing nearest branches but that's not a core feature of the app and this should not prevent me from using the app. It works reliability most of the time but the design is archaic and doesn't reflect the bank's stature.
