Users can pinpoint multiple locations to get specific weather watch and warning alerts sent straight to their phones. Find shelter and safe room information on the app to see if one is open in your area during a weather event.

AFTER THE STORM
Users can find quick links to access traffic information and power outages after a storm. There is a tool for citizens to self-report their damage to MEMA. Also, find resources and help that may be available after a disaster on the MEMA app.

Ratings and reviews

The app is well laid out with multiple links for information; this both a strength and a weakness. I think that the app should pull more information whether it be current weather alerts or warnings and have it displayed by default throughout the app to save time in an emergency situation. **A key main safety feature that's missing is an 'online player for NOAA Weather Radio placed directly on the app home page GUI' to stream for those citizens that don't have access to a NOAA radio.** 👍

It's very informative and the alerts are in real-time.

It was ok but very large app. Takes up a lot of space

We are improving the MEMA app with this update! We have added notifications so we can send important information before, during, and after a disaster. New default radius settings for weather alerts have also been updated.
