NitroDeck is a DS-style Android launcher for users who want a focused, visual, and controller-friendly home screen.

Open installed apps from a fast catalog, search alphabetically, customize app icons with local images, use your own photos on the alternate home surface, and navigate comfortably with touch, keyboard, or gamepad.

NitroDeck includes a classic dual-screen launcher layout, local game library tools for files from folders you choose, optional notification badges, sound and haptic settings, backup export, and controls designed for handheld Android devices.

The app does not include games, ROMs, BIOS files, system software, emulator apps, or official assets. Optional game-related features only open compatible local files through external apps selected by the user. NitroDeck is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any console manufacturer, platform holder, trademark owner, or official product.

Ratings and reviews

Cool Idea, but it needs LOTS of work. It's not very user friendly, the navigation is confusing and you can't really use or do anything without being prompted to pay. Needs to less confusing navigation and basic functions need to be free or no one is gonna buy something they can't even try because everything requires the purchase. It does look really cool though, I'll give it that.

Neat concept but it's pretty rough around the edges at this point. The top bar with the time and other info is not respecting the shape of the screen or the camera cutout on my Pixel 10a. The "bottom screen" elements are not centered but can be done so manually but it's a bit weird to work with as it seems there's no way to snap them to a grid like I'd kind of expect. I'll probably revisit this after a while to assess it again.

Its a very cute launcher but the delay when pressing/swiping home is very noticable. Also, the Grid doesn't seem to properly adjust to screensize so elements don't properly snap and when they do, they're out of alignment.

Version 1.1.3: performance improvements and bug fixes. The launcher experience is more stable, the apps list responds better and user-reported issues have been fixed.
