About this app

Hello, NIU Chinese is a Chinese Graded Reading (中文阅读 Yue Du Chinese) app, making Chinese / Mandarin learning an easy task.

We will teach you Chinese characters (汉字 Hanzi), vocabularies, grammar, Pinyin (拼音) and speaking pronunciation via interesting Chinese articles.

We have categorised Chinese articles according to different HSK exam levels. No matter what your Chinese level is, you can find ample contents suitable for your learning. These articles are written by professional Chinese teachers. These interesting articles can help Chinese learners improve reading skills, and also learn more about Chinese culture.

Ratings and reviews

Good so far for me because it stays simple and the readings are really according to HSK vocabulary levels. I would add: put a check/mark on the articles already read, build flashcards to exercise the saved words to train them as a quiz. And finally the possibility to add a listening voice.

Absolutely fantastic. Graded readings according to level and you can save words in favourites so you can look them up later. Yoh can also listen to the text and fasten the speed or slow it down.

Not a bad app but the layout is very boring and it doesn't allow me to translate one word it translates a whole sentence which is very annoying....I fell like the layout needs to be more organized and colorful it's kinda boring to look at but overall not too bad of an app but definitely needs a lot more improvement.
