NoGhosts is here to make ghosting a thing of the past. We are the companion app for arranging new meetings IRL, while creating accountability and building trust along the way. Whether you’re on a dating app, or digitally connected to someone new, NoGhosts empowers users to ask someone to meet with an expiring appearance request. So rather than be stuck in an endless cycle of match, chat, follow, chat again, wonder if someone is interested in meeting, sending an appearance request from NoGhosts helps to get you the clarity you need on your terms about meeting IRL.

Key features include:
Expiring appearance requests- an expiring request to meet that you can send to whomever you like, however you’d like. You’re in control by setting how long until the appearance request expires, and whether someone can extend their time to respond.

Chat to arrange details- if you or someone else accept an appearance request, you can chat to arrange details. No need to exchange numbers or other personal details/socials anymore.

Earn status- people like you deserve kudos for communication and for, well, not ghosting. Whether someone accepts or declines an appearance request, NoGhosts seeks to reward positive behaviors around communicating, lessening the anxiety of potentially transitioning online connections to IRL ones.

Reminders- if you dread sending the “are we still on for tonight?” messages, fear not, we’ve got you. NoGhosts automatically sends reminders on the day of an appearance and asks for a final confirmation. No need to do anything else.
Reliability and trust- as users communicate, they earn badges that can be shared with others. No one else gives you kudos just for replying or meeting IRL. We think that’s lame, so we fixed it.

Organization- you can see your appearance requests at-a-glance and manage appearances all in one place.

It’s great to see an app that gets the problem with meeting new people. 1- being able to know if someone is interested to meet; I send an expiring appearance request and get an answer. 2. If we both agree to meet we have an appearance that gives us reminders and looks like a calendar without being one; no one is trying to send an outlook calendar invite to a person they’ve never met. 3. You get points and badges that help with building trustworthiness over time. It’s already helping me a lot.

The avatars and badges in this app are a simple and fun way to be seen as reliable.

The fact that the app gets both parties to reconfirm an appearance request the day of the event is really helpful...
