About this game

Rush Duck is a draw-the-path puzzle about timing, not about walls.

Hold your duckling, drag a line to the nest, and lift your finger. It walks the line you drew at a steady pace, straight through whatever you put in front of it. Foxes patrol the meadow on fixed routes, and if you touch one, the run is over.

This is a puzzle rather than a reflex test because the foxes hold still while you draw. They only move when the duckling does, so the question is never "how fast are you" but "where will that fox be when you get there".

The game answers it while your finger is still down. Every fox wears a pale ring showing where it will be at the moment you arrive. Slide your finger and the rings slide with it. Read them, and the level solves itself.

What you get

- 30 hand-made levels across four worlds: meadow, pond, dunes and dusk
- Every level is checked by a solver before release, so all of them can be finished with the ink you are given
- Limited ink: the short way home earns three stars, the long way still gets you there
- Drag back over your line to rub it out one step at a time, with no need to start over
- A hint when you are stuck that shows a route that really wins
- Skip a level after getting stuck three times
- No purchases and no account, just open it and play

The line is the path, not a wall

In most drawing puzzles you draw a barrier and the character is a passenger. Here you draw the route itself. A good line is not the shortest or the safest one. It is the one that reaches each crossing just after the fox has left it. Two lines through the same gap can have completely different outcomes, and the only difference is their length.

Why ink matters

Ink is length, and length is time. A detour that dodges one fox can make you late for the next. Going the long way round is always allowed, but it costs stars, and sometimes the run, because the fox you avoided is now exactly where you are. Every ink budget was calculated by playing the level, not chosen by feel.

Built for thumbs

Grab the duckling anywhere near it and draw with the finger you already have on the screen. If you lift outside the nest, nothing happens: no penalty and no wasted attempt, just draw again. Boards and targets are large, and a level takes one to three minutes, so this brain teaser is easy to play with one hand.

If you like logic puzzle games, path puzzles or any draw puzzle where thinking beats reflexes, Rush Duck is made for you.
Draw the path, not a wall. Your duckling walks it - time it past the foxes.
