About this app

BackToStart is a Wear OS app that lets you save a GPS location and navigate back to it later.

How it works:
Tap the location icon on the main screen to store your current GPS position. Using the search icon, the app offers a list of saved locations and you can navigate to one of the locations, helping you find your way back. You can save and manage up to 10 locations (from version 1.8.0). The app uses Google Maps on the watch for navigation.

Use cases:

Save the location of your parked car and find your way back to it
Mark where you left your bicycle
Save the starting point of a hike to find your way back
Save the location of your hotel or campsite

Technical details:
The app requires access to GPS location data and Google Maps on the smartwatch. No registration or account creation is required. All saved location data is stored exclusively on the device and is not transmitted to any server.
