Meet Oli
Oli is a robot space archivist who has spent lifetimes roaming the universe, gathering data on strange natural phenomena and the technology of countless worlds. Somewhere along the way, the archive broke. The data tracks are corrupted, the letters are scattered, and Oli cannot repair them alone.
New: Stats, Share & Save
• Stats: after each game see your solve time and words per minute, plus your totals: missions, daily tracks, longest streak, hints used.
• Share: turn a solved Data Track into an image card with your color theme, a headline in the tone you like and up to 3 of those stats. Send it to any app. It never reveals the answers.
• Save & Exit: leave mid-mission and resume from Quick Start. A saved game waits 7 days (a daily until the end of that day); you're asked before a new game replaces it.
How Baseword Works
Every level is a corrupted track, and every track is a word puzzle. Unscramble the letters, solve each word, and watch the damaged data knit itself back together. Restore the track and Oli plays back what was hidden inside it: a real fact about space and astronomy. It is a word game with something waiting on the other side of the answer, and you earn Credits for every track you bring back.
A New Puzzle Every Day
There is a fresh Daily Track waiting each morning. One new daily puzzle, one new corrupted record, one more piece of the archive recovered. It is a small, satisfying habit for anyone who wants a word game waiting with their coffee, and a quiet bit of brain training that sharpens spelling and vocabulary a few minutes at a time.
Asteroid Attack
Then there is the mode with a rock heading straight for you. In Asteroid Attack, a fireball grows in the corner of the screen, shuddering as the countdown ticks down. Solve the word fast and it retreats. Hesitate and it strikes. Seconds you do not spend are banked toward the next word, so a quick solve buys you breathing room later. Crack a word in the final moments, with the rock already in flight, and you pull off a Near Miss. Three difficulty levels, up to six words, one incoming asteroid.
Baseword Match
Stuck on a track? Baseword Match is a memory card mini-game starring Oli and the crew. Flip the cards, find the pairs, and earn your way back into the word puzzle. Hint packs are there when you want them, and Credits keep rolling in as you play.
Play With Friends
Challenge someone in real-time multiplayer and see who restores the track first. Multiplayer turns a quiet word puzzle into a race, and it is a good excuse to find out whose vocabulary really holds up under pressure.
