Update(Feb 2025): App slowness persists, and gets slower the more you use it. I've used the app in the past with no issues. Today it was super slow. The first time it took me 20 minutes to add 4 pizzas to my order. Somehow my order got cleared, and luckily it only took me about 10 minutes to recreate the order (should have been less than 2 minutes).

I love Papa Murphys. I HATE this app. It took TWO HOURS to order a pickup order. The app kept freezing and closing and it absolutely KILLED my phone battery. I started the order with 100%, by the time I managed to finally finish my order, my phone was at 47%!! It was extremely hot where I could barely touch it. My phone is in great condition and I don't have any problems with any other apps. This app is GARBAGE and I'm going to just call and order that way. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.

I've never had a problem with the food, it turns out great every time. However, the app itself is terribly unoptimized. It takes forever to load, around 10 seconds to register any tap of my fingers, and when it does finally register if you happened to tap the same thing more than once during that time it will perform the same action however many times you tapped. If the pizza wasn't so dang good I would literally never use this app, it's very user unfriendly.
