One Candle Ahead is a candlestick game built on real stock and crypto charts. Step through the chart one candle at a time and decide whether to buy, sell or move on to the next candle. It is a candle game played with in-game virtual cash, so anyone can try it.

■ Real charts, one decision per candle
Every round shows you a real historical price chart. A round lasts 60 candles, and your very first practice round is a shorter 30. The chart is real, the stakes are not. It works like a chart quiz where every answer is a trade and the score is your return.

■ A report card the moment it ends
When the round ends you see your return next to the buy-and-hold return for the same period, plus the gap between them. Win rate, maximum drawdown and your strongest trade are shown too.
• Stock mode and crypto mode in one app

■ 50 stages to beat
Stages turn the stock game into a campaign. The Stages tab holds 50 stages across five chapters, each with a fixed real ticker and period, and you clear a stage by beating its buy-and-hold return. Beat it by a wider margin to earn up to three stars.

■ AI duels and a daily challenge
In an AI duel you trade the same chart as one of 14 bots and compare returns. The daily challenge brings a different chart each day, with rewards based on where you place among players.

■ Rankings and tiers
The ranking tab shows weekly, all-time, around-you, by-country and daily league standings.
Your total assets move you through 15 tiers that begin at Seed, Ant and Eagle. You can also unlock 17 achievements and build a daily play streak.

■ A stock game with virtual cash
No real money changes hands in a trade: every buy and sell uses in-game virtual cash.
