About this app

Comprehensive Vitamin D tracking app. Uses the GPS in your phone to figure out where you are on the planet then computes when you can get D, how much of it you can make, gives you a timer and in the paid version the ability to manage history and have the app estimate your levels on an ongoing basis.

It needs work. It's such a great idea to keep track of your vitamin D, especially if you lack a lot. I can keep track, tells me the best time to go outside and how long to sit out there. However the accuracy reports is low. How does my levels shoot down so low in 7 days despite logging enough? I have taken my blood tests and it's the same. I think the layout needs to be updated too, but it's not too complicated to work with. Sometimes I'm unable to add my history, so makes the accuracy even bad

Nice app. I find the UI very easy to use (frankly I'm not sure why there are so many complaints). I do notice that if I'm entering history that the overcast percentage seems to reset to the default 0% regardless of what I enter, but this isn't huge issue as it's rarely overcast enough to cause a problem and I'm only looking for a "ballpark" number; on occasion, I can't start a session, but if I go back "home" and try again it will start.

The app has its pros and cons. Pro: tells the best time of day for getting D from the sun and recommends length of exposure. This is its most valuable feature. Cons: If you close the app or move around in the app once your timer has started, it appears that the timer stops working. It would be useful for more detailed info on what to do (or not do) once a session has started. Would also like to be able to delete a session due to improper time recording. the app is decent - just needs some work.
