Ratings and reviews

I think this is a great option to play Doom on Android. I have one issue: you need to update the FreeDoom downloads. It was found out that some textures used assets from another game, I believe Hexen, and the latest version of FreeDoom has replaced them. Edit: still need to replace the downloads, and Doom 64's option to turn off vertical look doesn't work.

This is amazing. I was able to bring over all my GZDoom mods and they work nearly as well on my phone as they do on my PC. Building a HD DOOM experience, and it's really cool to take it with me. I use an 8bitdo controller, and with my Fold 4 open, this is really the mobile Doom experience I've always wanted. Everything is remappable, options are numerous, and I've even brought over Hexen and Heretic, since I've never actually finished those games.

This app is absolutely amazing. Now, Albeit, it is a bit of a headache to dive into with all mods and technical know-how required, but it's not terribly daunting for a person completely new to the doom engine scene to learn (I was that person). All in all, I recommend downloading this app, taking your time watching YouTube videos of how to set it up, and then giving this a shot. The biggest aspect here is the app allows you to play DOZENS of games/ mods for literally endless hours of gaming!!
