Plan the shoot before the shoot. Shoot Planner is a photo shoot planner and shot list app for photographers and filmmakers — and every part of it works offline.

Most tools do one thing: a moodboard, or a shot list, or a sun calculator. Shoot Planner chains them into one pipeline — references to shots to locations to lighting to storyboard to gear — then follows you into the field on the day.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
The golden hour engine and the field mode are fully on-device. No signal on a canyon rim, in a basement venue, or on a plane means nothing to this app. Your shoot day does not depend on a login screen loading.

SHOT LIST
Build a shot list with priorities, descriptions, focal length and camera notes. Assign shots to a day, drag to reorder, and mark each one captured as you go.

REFERENCES AND MOODBOARD
Collect a visual moodboard per project — shoot with the camera, pull from your photo library, or paste a Pinterest, Instagram or web link and the image and title are fetched for you. Browse it as a masonry gallery and filter by tag.

REFERENCE TO SHOT, IN ONE TAP
Turn any reference into a shot, permanently linked. On set you see the inspiration image beside the shot you are taking — not buried in a different app on a different tab.

GOLDEN HOUR AND BLUE HOUR
An offline solar engine gives sunrise, sunset, the golden hour window with its exact duration, blue hour, and the sun path for every day and location in your plan. No network, no subscription wall, no waiting for a map tile.

LOCATION SCOUTING AND MAP
Geo-tag each shot and see the whole project as numbered pins in shooting order. Save access notes — parking, gate codes, permit restrictions, the walk in — and hand off to your maps app for directions.
