Getting your ticket
E-tickets may look like a humble barcode but when they’re stored in your app’s Booking section, they become the quick and easy way to travel, so no need to interact with anyone or anything when in the train station or onboard a train.

Picking up tickets from a ticket machine
If you plan to pick up your tickets from a ticket machine, you'll need your reference numbers which are stored in the bookings section to view at any time.

Using your Smartcard
Request a new Smartcard through the app when making your next ticket purchase. We will then send you your Smartcard in the post. You may then load the ticket onto your Smartcard at the gate.

Ratings and reviews

the recent update brings weird layout and colour scheme. The old app was so much easier to read. I also find it very confusing when searching the trains in advance. It often shows me the trains which are not running at the actual time. or if you ask to find you a train to arrive before 8, it will list you ones arriving before 7 first and then when you press for more, it is sometimes skipping one... it also keeps logging me out so buying the ticket requires many steps and some could be skipped.

Rubbish. Don't know what's happened lately, this used to work really well. I couldn't pay for my ticket with my saved card, 5 times I approved the transaction in my banks app. Given up and will get a ticket at the station. Rubbish.

I cannot recommend it. The app has an unreliable user interface and experience. The navigation has sucked for years now, and there are far too many steps and button presses to buy a ticket. Additionally, it notifies you of a new app update when there isn't one.
