hello, I've generally been happy with my Oto, but since replacing my last unit, setting up a zone has been incredible painful. the app freezes, the response time between issuing a command and maybe seeing a response had gotten so sluggish I can't tell what's happening. sometimes oto just spina while Spraying. I have to kill it just to stop the water. it wasn't like this when I first got oto and setup up a zone. the past experience is the only reason keeping my review a 3 and not lower.

This app has a good UI, and is intuitive. I've only had it crash 1 time. I use it daily. I honestly don't know why others have rated it lower. I have 5 OTO Sprinkler Devices - Each has between 5 and 9 programs running. One of which, I'm using for dousing a firepit as needed. These cover 4,000+ sq ft of lawn, dozens of trees, & flower beds. The solutions are fantastic as well. My neighbors have mosquitoes, and we have next to none. I don't have think think about fertilizing, it just happens.

My wife and I love the two OtO units we have! We have flowering and fruiting plants that need to be watered on different schedules and are moved throughout the year, and the OtO lets us water them on custom schedules and amounts as we need to. Nothing else (other than manual watering) lets us do this. The app works well but can start lagging if you start drawing complicated area maps. We've found making multiple smaller area maps as an easy workaround. The support team is also fantastic.
