Love the app in general. The problem is that, even though accessible font sizes are available, using them slows the app to a crawl... Often taking 10 seconds and occasionally taking a minute or more to change the page, or locking up the app entirely. If you can get the menu to pop up while it's lagging it's says that it's counting pages, which suggests that it's a bug in when or how the page count function operates. This is for a book with 9k+ "pages".

The original Overdrive version was great! I could download a bunch of books for long flights or if I was in a place without Internet connections. Now, with Libby, libraries should rethink using this app. The major problem is that it requires an internet connection --akin to streaming -- to be able to READ. I can see needing the connection for downloading and returning. It also seems to use too much of my phone battery. Otherwise, the app seems fine.

I've been using Libby for a couple weeks and I LOVE IT! I like that it links to my local library, the app works well and is well designed. It is intuitive to use and has many useful features. Good search feature, great tagging system to organize material. The only drawback for me is the availability of materials which is determined by the library anyway. The quality of recordings is fantastic. I really appreciate the way that it keeps my place between devices too!
