I preferred the original Overdrive but times change. I do appreciate being able to borrow from other libraries beside my local. It gives me access to more titles. The program lags when loading a book to listen. It closes when other apps are opened instead of staying on in the background. If you play an audio book at a higher speed, the app asks you if you want to sync to a previous point in the book. Totally useless. Mostly, everything works well. I am just complaining about minor things.

Libby is nothing short of wonderful. It's like a trip to the library every time I open the app and the reader itself is spectacular to use. It's typically easy to search for anything I could think of, including listed book series, categories, and my own tags. My biggest complaint is just that the UI seems a bit convoluted at times and finding sections can sometimes take a bit of clicking to remember where they are.

I am updating my rating from 3 to 4- really 4.5 stars. They have fixed the bugs that I previously did not like and they made a few cosmetic changes also. This is a great app for free audio books. It runs great. I love that you can tag books and keep track of ones you've read, loved, hated, ect. Always room for improvement in the availability of audio books. I don't know why every book isn't available 😕- ESPECIALLY if it is a series. Don't have 1,2,5,6,7,11... super frustrating. But great.
