Ratings and reviews

Please default to open incidents again (or give me the choice). The most common things I use the app for is Acknowledging, Snoozing and resolving incidents, and also creating a new page. All of this is now hidden behind another tap from the new home screen using a narrow bit of text which can be missed easily. I understand there can be some useful info in there, but I would much rather THAT information be more taps away. I used to be able to open the app, quickly swipe and be done; no more.

Functionality-wise it works great. Aesthetically it keeps going downhill. They need to stop adding clutter to the home screen, or at least let users choose what to display on the home screen. When I open the app I want to immediately see my incidents, these days you have to click into another screen to see them.

Also now unable to use the app due to it thinking my phone is rooted (it is not). And I have no clue why pagerduty would decide to go out of their way to make rooted devices incompatible. Even if you believe its less secure, that is a choice the user has made on their own security posture, why are you trying to take the choice a way? What any engineer chooses to do with their device should not be the business of pager duty. If this was a customer/company level feature flag I could understand.
