I have used PandaVPN for the past few years and I've been happy with it. Although now while using the desktop app for Windows 10 most connections run much slower than in the past. It's quite frustrating to keep switching servers for a good connection. No issues with the Android app though. I will probably renew subscription and give it a try for another year.

Why making the app free in store then force the user to pay in the app? Reply to the developer's comment: thanks for your reply. Apparently, the user has to select the server/country he wants to connect to first, otherwise a payment nag will keep appearing without connecting, which is confusing. So, the app can work in free mode, but it requires a little bit of fiddling. Again, thanks for the fast, and polite, response. It would've been better to mention the workaround, though.

Very disappointing experience with PandaVPN. I forgot to cancel the free trial before it renewed, and I contacted them immediately to request a refund. Unfortunately, they refused to issue one. I understand that customers are responsible for managing their subscriptions, but I believe a reasonable refund policy should exist for accidental renewals, especially when the request is made shortly after being charged.
