Issue: File Encryptor - My files are still visible after I encrypt them.
Answer: S.S.E. File Encryptor acts as a secure archiver, creating a new, protected .enc file. To automatically delete the original unencrypted file after processing, go to: Settings → File Encryptor → Wipe Source After Encryption.

Ratings and reviews

First encryption app. Since then I've tried multiple programs on various platforms both paid & free. However, I always ended up using Paranoia Works more. They did the same things the other's did, if not more; had a user-friendly interface, useful information in the help section, great cross-platform compatibility, and they had the best price for all that functionality - Free & Ad Free, and a low one-time price for pro.

Highly secure and easy to use. I would suggest the developer consider three improvements however. #1 create an easier way to back up your encrypted passwords. #2. Add a password length counter as many systems require 15 or more characters. Counting to be sure you have enough isn't hard but it would be convenient to have a counter. #3. Include a password strength meter of some sort.

This app should be owned by everybody! It's easy to use. Secure. Easy to backup. Easy to encrypt messages with the best encryption options available! The password saving interface is well thought out. There's a password generator that's excellent and because you can then save the password in the app there's no need to worry about remembering it. Simply open up to the file, copy the pw, paste in the pw field on the site or app.
