Provides all the secure functionality Passbolt on computer provides in a portable form. My main issue is that the process of reading and creating/editing in this app is difficult. Reading grey text on a black background when the text is entirely random and I'm copying it to some other device is very frustrating. When creating/editing an entry sharing to other groups is cumbersome, as you have to save the entry, find the sharing button, add a group, then use a drop-down to change permissions.

Since month of testing I have to correct my rating. The app is barely usable and I recevie many complains from my users. In fact the acceptance of the app is so low, I consider to switch to another service. Web and browser plugins work fine. However, the app is a disaster. Auto fill works 1 out of 100 times even with legacy mode enabled. The missing offline feature is a show stopper for areas without internet, the imideate lock of the app turnes a login attempt into a rollercoaster ride.

Free and open source software... this makes passbolt one of the best password managers available. the mobile implementation could use a local read only backup for internet outage's but otherwise it's just what I need. if you have half a brain, I recommend trying it. you need to host a instance yourself or rent one, either way it's the price you pay for being in control over your own data with actual security and feature parity to other password managers
