Improving! Identity Safe is a good password manager. No frills, but a sensibly designed app. The cloud storage of your passwords is not as secure as an offline keystore, but the additional convenience is probably worth it. It is nice that you can share the same password database across all of your devices, but browser support is limited, for example Firefox is not supported (neither mobile nor desktop). I wish the app and plugins could generate passwords.
Great password manager, ordinary browser I use this to store logins and passwords. It lets you store notes and useful information about the login across multiple devices, including my pc. You can group similar login types under "Tags" like directories for easier searching. The browser is really basic and doesn't work for some sites. l couldn't find any print function. There's no addon or extension feature that I could find. Pity the login function can't auto-populate login sites in other more versatile browser apps like Firefox on Androi
Getting better One issue is with the App autofill feature. When we click the norton icon which pops up over other apps login page, identity safe is launched full screen for entering our vault password. This often pushes the other app in to the background and often the other app's login page refreshes or expires. A possible workaround, if it could be implemented, would be to let us enter vault password in a popup window on a part of screen without pushing the other app in to background. Looking forward for this to be fixed
Password managers sud b offline. People are demanding more and more cloud based password managers with more features like auto fill etc. But those features make password managers more unsecured. 1) it sud hv own keyboard. 2) encrypted local database. 3) ability to place the encrypted database to cloud manually and prompt whenever changes occur. 3) no internet permission. 4) clean the clipboard after use. I hv doubt on this thing though. See, remember and type is better.
Good but can be better It a free password program that has all you need to organize you passwords. The only problem is it could be implemented better to create a need password you need to first find the generate password button then go to the other fields. In the PC it even less useful since it does not even have a password generator. I know norton can do better.
Convince compromised security I have given a revisit of this product and found that it has added biometric authentication along with PIN unlock. I was very happy in seeing these feature additions till it required Internet access to use both features. So, I am wondering even our 4 digit pin is being stored in the cloud ? Absolutely there cannot be any reason for 4 digit pin authentication to happen only after connected to the internet and the 4 digit pin is super easy to crack by professional tools and neural network based bots.
