Ratings and reviews

Great content, but the fact that it won't work with picture-in-picture means I frequently can't use it at the times that I'd like to. I very rarely watch anything on my phone without needing to occasionally make sure a text wasn't urgent or check the weather, and with other video apps that's not a problem, but this app won't work minimized, meaning it pauses anytime you need to do anything else. This is frustrating enough that I find myself often not watching PBS content, just for this reason.

I had really high hopes for this app. I've been a PBS fan, particularly Masterpiece, for decades. I had thought a passport membership would offer a vast library of previous shows, but I was mistaken. It's a heavily curated selection that rotates and doesn't include a lot of things I had hoped to find. In addition, the app is incredibly buggy. I Know PBS operates partly through donations, but this is a key fundraiser for them, and they really needed to give more attention to this app.

Just a mind-numbingly bad platform. I do love the content but not worth the aggrevation trying to watch it on this travesty of an app. In addition, it took me 2 minutes of ads to actually start any program, go to the next program. PBS, yes 'non-commericial" "public television" has by far the most ads of any platform any of us use. It is wild, heartbreaking and makes me unwilling to donate in the future. Do better or go away
