Ödev turns a photo of a homework question into a step-by-step method, following the Turkish national curriculum (MEB) for grades 1-12. It does not hand over the answer first. Solutions are written in Turkish, following the Turkish (MEB) curriculum.
WHY THE ANSWER IS HIDDEN
When the answer appears first, the method is skipped. Ödev explains the question step by step, and each step says what is being done and why. The answer stays folded until you tap "Show the answer", so the child sees the method first.
PARENT MODE: "HOW DO I EXPLAIN THIS?"
The second tab of every solution is written for the parent: plain language, usually with an everyday example. Even if you have forgotten the topic, it helps you explain it.
IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE CURRICULUM
Your grade and subject selection shapes the explanation, using the concepts taught in Turkish schools, aiming to stay close to the method used in class.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the grade and subject.
2. Take a photo or choose one from the gallery, then frame a single question.
3. Read the steps in the Method tab and reveal the answer when you are ready.
4. Use the "Explain to my child" tab to talk it through.
YOUR PHOTOS ARE NOT STORED ON OUR SERVER
Your photo is not stored on our server; it is sent to an AI service provider to produce the solution. No account, no name, no email. Your last 20 solutions stay on your device only, and "Delete history" removes them all.
FREE AND PRO
The free mode solves 3 questions a day, plus 2 more by watching a rewarded ad; parent mode is free for your first 3 solutions. Pro raises this to 30 a day, unlocks parent mode on every question and removes ads. Weekly or yearly subscription with a 3-day free trial.
Ödev does not replace a teacher. Solutions come from an AI model and can occasionally be wrong; when the app's own confidence is low it says so and asks you to check with the teacher.
