About this app

This app is not a medical device; it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any
disease. Consult a physician about health concerns.

Put your phone on the nightstand and Horlama listens through the night, then tells
you in plain words what happened. All analysis runs **on your device**: your
recording is never sent to a server, there is no cloud account, and no sign-up.

**Night report**
Recording time, snoring time and its share of the recording, the number of snoring
events and the loudest 30-minute window. A timeline shows how the events spread
across the night.

**Short audio clips**
Six-second recordings from the marked moments. Play them, delete them, or share
them one by one. At most 30 clips per night are kept, and you can turn clip saving
off entirely.

**Long silence gap marker**
If a silence longer than 10 seconds interrupts regular snoring, the sound returns
to the noise floor, and snoring then restarts, the app counts it. This is not a
measurement or a diagnosis; it is an observation of a pattern in the recording. We
do not show a risk percentage, a score or a colour-coded badge — inventing one
would not be honest.

**Solution tracking**
Side sleeping, a different pillow, nasal strips, no alcohol or late meals, weight
tracking. Mark what you tried and compare only with **your own past nights**. If
there are fewer than 3 nights on either side, no comparison is shown.

**A report for your partner**
One card tells the night: date, ratio, event count and a timeline thumbnail. Audio
clips are never embedded in the card.

**Privacy**
Your recording is processed and stored only on your device. There is no ad network,
no analytics SDK and no crash reporting library. The only network call the app
makes is to the Google Play subscription service. You can delete recordings at any
time; deletion is permanent.

Recording starts only when you tap "Start the night" on screen and runs with an
ongoing notification; the app never starts recording in the background or at boot.

Free: unlimited night recording, the night summary, 3 nights of history, 3 clip
plays per day. Pro: the full timeline, every clip, 14 nights of history, the trend
screen with solution comparison, and the partner report card. The weekly plan comes
with a 3-day free trial.

The thresholds and durations the app uses are engineering choices with no clinical
source.
