it is junk like this that has me considering a switch to iOS. pebblebee will work. except when you actually need it to help you find your keys. then your on your own. firmware update, or configuration change or some other bs reason why it can detect that your device is in the vicinity of you home wifi, but it can neither make it ring nor use UWB or whatever to detect direction. junk!

At last... an item that takes Apple AirTag off the spotlight. When I first pre-ordered my Google compatible trackers a year ago, they kind of worked but were gimmicky and didn't work half the time. Now, two firmware updates later, I can truly say I have something that WORKS and in some ways, is better than competing trackers. I've easily found my lost items countless times thanks to Pebblebee and Google Find My Device. And Rechargeable?!! Why haven't other brands done this? One request: ADD UWB!

an earlier version cannot find/connect to my mini (but was successful with the key clip version) and after a connection failure message would crash when I clicked the mini button five times a second around. after a recent update, now the app just spins and doesn't react to the mini at all. so there appears to be no hopes for doing a firmware update for that device until the software issues are fixed. both devices can be seen just fine with the find my devices app.
