I was spending too much on Audible and looking for an alternative. I thought this would be a great solution. It isn’t. I was surprised after signing up to find a 1,000-minute monthly limit, extra charges for more minutes, and even higher fees for additional voices. That’s ridiculous. Apps like Speechify and ElevenReader charge a simple monthly or annual fee with no nickel and diming. I’ll change my rating if you go back to an unlimited plan.

If I could give this app 3.5 stars I would. It's pretty good at what it does. I've only been using Peech for a few days now but. I've imported role playing game books from pdf files and Kindle books so far. The voices sound nice and natural most of the time but they do mispronounce the occasional word, not that big of a deal because I can usually figure out what it is. I would like to see this improve over time though. On some books I've had the app skip a paragraph or two as well.

Started a subscription hoping to catch up on some books in my Kindle account. This app tried to charge me $39.99 before it was even due in October. I have tried to cancel and have not been able to. The app says to sign in on the web. I only get an error message and the page won't load. I tried to do it through the play store...nope. Tried through Google, subscription isn't even shown. I had to freeze my credit card so I don't get charged...
