About this app

This App supports patients participating in clinical trials to inform them about the study, store documents, and submit data. Study sites can directly interact with patients, and they will be informed when new information about the trial is available or other tasks are ready for completion by the patient. Key benefit for the patient is the electronic availability of its trail data and documents as well as trial progress.

Patient can only enter the App after being invited by a clinical trial site that explains the use of the application for trial purposes. Once the participant agrees to using the application, they complete the registration process and subsequent login to the application with credentials or an alternative method such as FaceIID recognition. The first step in the use of the application requires the patient to agree to the terms and conditions of the application. With built in eSigning capabilities this App can be used to give consent electronically by signing consent forms directly in the app. Each sponsor of the clinical trial can design its own consent, particularly tailored for the specific study.

This App provides the patient a good overview of their participation during the study. Relevant study documents are stored in the App so patients can check them whenever they need. Data is treated with the highest confidentiality; patient data can only be accessed by the patient and viewed by the trial investigator. At any point in time, the patient can withdraw from the study utilizing the consent module within the app. During or even after withdrawal the patient always has access to its consented documents and related study data.
