This is okay. Probably about 3.5 rather than 4 star. Voice coaching is good and has tracked my runs perfectly up to now. However, the music is an issue. When the coach talks during a run the music volume doesn't reduce so you cannot hear what's being said. It's ok for the shorter runs but from week 6 onwards the runs become longer I prefer to listen to music as well to keep my pace. Please sort this!
Great app, it really works, and is perfectly achievable if you really want to run and improve your fitness. I've gone from a lethargic couch potato who couldn't run at all, to running for 30 minutes, it's incredible. 4 other friends and family have also signed up and hit the target having seen me achieve the goal. Roll on 10k!
Absolutely brilliant app, mainly due to it's simplicity. Never thought I would be able to run for 30 seconds, let alone 30 minutes. This app allows you to listen to your own music while gently guiding you along your run. Having completed the 9 weeks I now wish the was a 5k to 10k app too
This could be so much better if it included the music from the NHS Choices Couch to 5K podcast series. The music was motivational, but above all in sync with the walk/run cycle. I can't recommend this app over the podcasts for that very reason.
Excellent plan for absolute beginners. Love the options to select which week you are up to, choose a trainer and use your own music. Would like to have 'Laura' from podcasts as a trainer option. Would also like to be able to toggle half way bell on or off (useful for a linear route, otherwise annoying).
The app is great, it got me running and I'm now week 6! Not very happy that all my data deleted... The music I'm listening to is always much louder that the coach's voice so I always have to pause the music so I can hear what they are saying which is very annoying. Hope this will get resolved soon.
