New Update is buggy. The app is great, especially the UI, there are great new features each update, but the app gets more bugged every update. I would've left a much more positive review to the version of the app a few months ago than to this version. Too lazy to find a new Reddit client, but will if it gets more buggy. Also, I'm not on some random Android handset, with a random skin, I'm on the S7, so idk why it's so buggy.
Animations/transitions are strange and choppy. Edit: the floating menu has a glitchy and strange animation. Swiping left and right through subreddits on the main screen is also glitchy. Edit2: battery saver isn't on, reinstalled and animations still laggy.
Ugh I've been using this app for years. I absolutely hate the position of the new menu. I get you're trying to go android material. Usually on buttons like that for the material design, they are meant for posting, submitting, and sending, but not for menus. 😔 also the added padding around the edges is a pixel or two too much. I miss the old now for reddit. 😢. Pls sir.. Pls..
I prefer the older version The newer slide style feels too cramped, it feels messy. I'll be staying on version 4.5.
Crashes far too often Good app, with a great interface. It just crashes regularly, and you need to force it to stop to reset it. 5 stars otherwise
slow animations and uneeded change was good but now upvoting takes extremely long due to animations (1.5+ second per upvote; ain't nobody got time for that!)
