Just downloaded Word Checker after eight years of playing tournament Scrabble, as I have seen so many other players using it, as is allowed, to resolve challenges. It saves walking over to the laptop provided at tournaments. Before that you had to put up your hand and a 'runner' would come to adjudicate using the Scrabble Words book. Great app and easy to use. In tournaments we have to turn off the meanings setting.

Excellent app. Love that it works offline; useful during backwoods camping trips! Perfect, except for one request and one typo to fix. Request: add a "search all dictionaries at once" mode. In this mode, for each accepted word, show which dictionaries it appears in. Typo to fix: The dictionary "NASPA World List 2023" is shown in the main interface as "NWL2022". Thanks for the great app!

yes, some may think it's cheating looking up words, BUT if you have ever sat there for a HOUR while someone is desperately trying to fit a word???? a good app stays within the strict Scrabble dictionary, and helps speed up the game... for someone who has ONLY won 1 game in 200, that is not cheating... it is the game that matters, NOT who wins..
