About this app

Pista is a board game companion app that helps you make decisions, quickly.

How?
Pista is a board game decision facilitator that works the way you actually play games. Get mood-based recommendations, explore new games by looking at what they are most similar to, view listings of new, secondhand and online copies to see how to try it. All of this without needing an account!

With an account, you can import your BGG collection in 2 minutes, log plays, see insights from your play and collection, and share your game session adventures with cool visuals!

How Recommendations and Matching Work (No AI)
Pista does not use any LLMs or AI language models for recommendations or insights. The matching engine is entirely hand-coded, using BGG's data on categories, mechanics, and families, combined with your collection and play history.
