PixaMed Wound-Care Assistant is a clinical documentation tool for licensed healthcare providers who manage wound care. The app combines precise measurement, in-app photography, structured assessment, and treatment reporting into a single HIPAA-aligned workflow.

• In-app camera capture — wound photos are taken with the device camera only; they never touch the device photo library, supporting HIPAA confidentiality.
• Patient and wound records — organize patients by facility, track multiple wounds per patient, and view progression over time.
• Anatomical wound locator — visually mark wound locations on a body diagram for fast charting and consistent records across providers.
• Assessment & treatment — document tissue type, drainage, odor, periwound condition, pain, treatments applied, products used, and care plans.
• PDF clinical reports — generate encounter reports for the patient chart, billing, or referral.
• Works offline — capture and document at the bedside even without connectivity; data syncs when back online.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

PixaMed is built to support HIPAA-compliant clinical workflows. Photos and data are encrypted in transit and at rest. The app uses device camera capture only — no read or write access to your phone's photo library. Access is restricted to authorized users under your organization's data-use agreement with Pixameter Corp.
