G-Stomper Producer is a fast and flexible Music Sequencer and Digital Audio Workstation, designed for use in live performance as well as for production. It comes with a powerful Drum Sampler, a polyphonic and multi-timbral Virtual Analog Performance Synthesizer (VA-Beast), Sounds, Effects, Sequencers, Pads and Keyboards, a graphical Multi-Track Song Arranger, and many other creative features that help you to create your own music.

Jam live, improvise and let the music happen spontaneously, play patterns of different lengths/quantizations, simultaneously and in any combination, without having to stop the sequencer at any time, and finally write your creation down as a Song.

This little groovebox like app is very capable, it takes some getting used to but I could figure out how to use it without reading manuals or help pages. On my old phone I couldn't really go too crazy with tweaking sounds but on my new S21 Samsung mid range phone it works great, only had to change latency settings. I don't record audio over the tracks, I record and trim samples on another app or on the PC or 4-track and import them. Perfect to make quick beats on the fly.

It took me a while to adjust to the workflow of G-Stomper Producer, but once I did, I found it to be a powerful and versatile mobile DAW. I mainly use it to write musical ideas on my phone or tablet to develop further on my main DAW on my PC, though that's not even scratching the surface of what Producer is capable of. I appreciate that it has great performance, even on my low spec devices. The only con is the lack of an undo/redo function. Overall, a great DAW that I highly recommend.
