Every year Romeo takes more and more and more things that used to be free and started charging for everything & blocking most valuable parts of the app. It's better to look at other apps as this one is slowly becoming a joke. Very little value, it's very buggy & crashes often. Many times the site is down all while raising the price and cutting the free areas to the bone . Find any other app , they just keep raising the price & cutting it's free areas . I used to really like it, it's a joke now.

This app is going the same way as a certain other gay dating app now: You can only see people within a very limited vicinity around your position in the free version. Different from said other app, there is basically no one there in your immediate vicinity - even less many now that they are actively being driven away. Romeo does not yet have the rapid price hikes and the aggressive nsfw advertisements, but that may be just around the corner, if they want to monetize it aggressively.

A few years back I installed this app and had a good experience with it. Recently, I tried to install the app on my Huawei Y9 and I am unavle to get passed the screen that requires me to add a profile photo. No matter what I do I simple cannot add a photo and move forward to create a profile. I have checked the permissions several times and all are garnted. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, still the same issue. I will keep trying but any suggestions would be helpful
