Ratings and reviews

The app works well for booking most games, but I really dislike the experience when booking a casual open match. The level slider is frustrating to use and makes it difficult to select the correct level accurately. Would it be possible to replace it with a simple typed input field instead? Also, when booking a competitive match, the range starts correctly at 0.25 below my level, but the upper limit is capped at 7. For example, my available range is 2.46–7.00. This seems excessive.

The worst thing about this application is that it financially penalizes you for using its core feature: finding players. If you create an open match and nobody joins, there is no safe cancellation window, nor does the system auto-cancel the match if it remains empty. The app charges you anyway. It makes no sense—why should users be punished with a fee when the platform itself fails to connect you with other players? It completely discourages using the open match feature. Very disappointing.

Why do I randomly keep losing basic UI features? Before I could sort matches by distance, now that's disappeared. Before I could expand to 12mi distance for matches, now it's 6mi tops. Worst of all when I go press create a match the option to create one that isn't playtomic court is gone. This makes the app completely unusable for me because I live in front of a public court that I now can't utilise. I had paid for a court only to realise that I couldn't create a match on playtomic afterwards.
