Ratings and reviews

Google home playback is a disaster, the server takes too long to link up when opening the app, buffers for no reason (yes I adjust settings), and more focus is spent on "new features" then making a reliable product. I've had Plex for over a decade, it's sad. and 10 years later, no Google assistant integration. but hey, we have free movie from 1980 that no one wanted to watch in 1980

Plex has meager amounts of pre-1970s content. It has "mark as seen/unseen" & other viewing management features, but versus other TV apps it also has far more, longer & oddly timed commercials. You can't control whether Plex autoplays the next episode, & Plex only does so inconsistently. Plex provides lots of info about the cast of a show & other work they've done. It has good in-show navigation, but pausing makes you restart at the beginning of a show & watch another ad. 2.5 stars.

Thank you Plex for airing Moonlight! 🌙 I love this series; however, only one season was filmed. I believe production stopped because of a writer's strike. So sad. Thank you for the selections of movies, too! Plex plays classics and older movies like TMC does! There are commercials, but it's okay. I have an Android Motorola cell phone and pulled the Plex app from Google Play. Enjoy free series and movies!
