Ratings and reviews

I don't _want_ to switch apps, but a pro version where the point is to not have ads, and it added ads anyway... I'm just not okay with it, especially when you can't even dismiss them. Add to that my repeated issues where it delays playing for 20 seconds or so (or until I restart the app), and I guess it's time to look elsewhere. Still makes me sad.

I have been using the Podkicker Pro since 2013 and I am still happy with it. The "sponsored Podcast" (ads) on my homescreen are slightly annoying for two reasons: 1) they take up space for advertising in a paid app. Although I wouldn't mind recommendations in the 'Search' Tab. 2) Clicking on an ad for a podcast does not do anything, it does not subscribe, it does not give me any more information on the podcast, it just changes '+' on the right to a tick....

I've used podkicker pro for well over a decade, and in that time I've always been satified. I use the paid version, and always have, since it shows no ads. However in the last day, it has started adding recommended podcasts to the top of my list of podcasts, which is a dealbreaking change. I don't want ads, I don't want recommendations. I want a podcast app with good RSS feed management, that doesn't serve me ads and recommendations. For well over 10 years, this has been that app. Now it isn't.
