trying for Labubu dolls is crazy. I was lucky to get the item in my cart, which was allegedly served for 5 mins, but when I went to check out it said "sorry your item is too popular" and wouldn't let me complete the purchase. but also wouldn't let me delete the item from my cart and made me wait the full 5 mins to empty my cart. also, some items in boxes were held for 5 mins and some for 15 mins I dont understand the difference in hold time. all in all, you're lucky if you get one.

edit: It's still a horrible app. regardless of its updates 7/4/25. Prev: There was a drop yesterday, and it kept telling me that there was a network error or that I had no internet or was not connected to wifi. That was false because I was connected to a five g network. I could not check out my items because of this. Popmart has made so much money, and yet they're so lazy to improve on the app; especially when it comes to combatting against bots.

The way they drop super popular items is extremely frustrating on the app. You have to be quick, but it constantly takes access from you for pressing too quickly. Even a consistent slower pace can get you flagged and blocked. I actually DID get labubus reserved, but I spent the entire 5 min reserve times trying to press the checkout button, only to be met with the 'this item is too popular' error. a reservation (which is EXTREMELY difficult to get already) isn't even a guarantee for product. :(
