Preon is a free VPN proxy for Android. Most free VPN apps make you create an account before they will do anything — Preon does not. There is nothing to register, nothing to verify, and no card to enter.
WHY NO ACCOUNT MATTERS
A VPN is meant to reduce what is known about you, and an account does the opposite: it is a record of you, held somewhere, tied to an email address. Preon never asks for one, so nothing links a session to a name, an address or a phone number.
ENCRYPTED END TO END
Everything between your device and our servers travels inside an encrypted tunnel. On a cafe network, hotel wifi, an airport hotspot or a stranger's shared connection, what you are doing is unreadable to everyone else on it.
WE DON'T LOG WHAT YOU DO
Our servers run with access logging switched off. There is no record of the sites you visit or the apps you use — not held privately, not held briefly, not held at all. We measure how much data a session carried so we can keep the servers running. We never record where it went.
SERVERS IN MANY COUNTRIES
Preon connects you through servers in a range of countries, and the app always tells you which one your session came out in. The current list lives in the app and changes as servers are added or retired. The IP address you appear from becomes the server's, not your own.
BUILT TO STAY UP
Every server is watched continuously and taken out of rotation the moment it stops behaving, so you are never handed one that is struggling.
WHAT IT COSTS
Preon is free to use. Free sessions run for a set time with a data allowance, and a short video plays before you connect — that is what pays for the servers. The app shows you the current terms before you tap connect, every time.
Preon Plus removes the video and the session limits, and lets you pick the country you exit in and keep it. Monthly or yearly, cancelled from Google Play whenever you like.
