How Present Parent Works:

1. Set your family time

Choose the times you want to be fully present - dinner, bath time, school runs, or weekend mornings.

2. Shield distracting apps

Social media, email, and news apps are automatically protected during family time.

3. Pause before opening

If you try to open a protected app, Present Parent asks:

“What’s pulling you away right now?”

After you answer, a short pause begins.

During the pause, your own words stay on screen - giving you a moment to decide if it’s really worth it.

Most of the time, the urge passes.

4. Reflect on your time

At the end of each session, you’ll see how long you stayed present and how many times you paused.

No judgement.

This allows the app to:

• Display a pause screen before those apps open

Present Parent does not:
• Collect personal data
• Record keystrokes
• read messages or content
• track activity outside of your selected apps

All data stays on your device.

Accessibility access is only used to deliver the app’s core functionality and can be disabled at any time.
