Great job guys Love the 2.0 update. You took an already indispensable tool and added more awesomeness. It would be nice to be able to send a few macros, like 15,19 and 27, then we wouldn't have to go to the QC to trip plan. Customizable notification sound would be nice also. Anyone having issues receiving notifications after update, just uninstall, reinstall and log back in. Man there's a lot of haters out there.
Messaging The only positive to this app is I can message people other than dispatcher..The HOS driving monitor sucks. (Not bc I text and drive, but bc it takes forever for my app to realize I'm not driving anymore) The text is so small without zooming in, I can't read it. Why have to zoom in to read it? That's kinda why I clicked on the message in the first place, TO READ IT. How they made it simple to see all previous loads together is kind of nice. But it also made it harder to send trip documents in.
Not that good Dosent update as 1.0 did meaning new messages don't come through in a timely fashion. Can't use it while driving as I use Google speech to text via Bluetooth. Guess someone determined it was safer to send and reply to messages on Omnitrix while driving. As the others said pulling over is not always convenient.
Mixed feelings about update I do like how our trips have their own tab. It makes checking in at customers much easier but I hate that it blocks us from using the app if our HOS says we're driving. My phone is set up to be 100 % hands free. I can check messages and send messages through my Bluetooth headset but now I can't. You can't do anything while you are in drive mode. I understand that it's a safety feature but there should be a way to disable that function.
Better then last but more retarded I like the ui better yet I can't check messages or fuel cost quickly. I have the ability to control my phone from Bluetooth yet when I'm moving I can't. I feel this needs to be disabled. However I've noticed if you check load native browser, I can sneak by before the app freezes basically.
Wish I wouldn't have updated Nothing like having the company GPS send you to the wrong location only to have the app block you from looking at the macro 19 message while your map is pulled up on your qualcomm. Pull over? Try doing that in downtown Chicago. I shouldn't have to write down what I have in digital format on my phone. Also you don't need to know my location. The truck? Fine. None of your business where my phone is located.
