About this app

Hide photos and videos in a real encrypted vault, for free - not a hidden folder as most photo locker apps pretend to be.
Gravity Vault secures every photo, video, and note behind military-grade encryption bound to your phone's own security hardware, from the moment you download the free app - so that your private gallery remains private, even if someone gets physical access to your phone. No account, no cloud, nothing is uploaded anywhere by default, and only specific features require any permission at all.
🔒 A Vault That Means It
✓ Real encryption on all levels, including the free version - powered by your device's security hardware, not just a hidden folder
✓ Unlock vaults with a PIN of your choice, pattern, fingerprint, or face, and switch between them at will
✓ Recover a forgotten PIN your way, without any account to log into or emails to check
✓ Wrong PIN attempts trigger a cooldown that gets longer with each failure, slowing down anyone trying to force their way in
📁 Hide, Organize, and Find Anything
✓ Hide photos, videos, audio files, PDFs, and rich notes in one encrypted vault gallery
✓ Sort media into albums and nest albums into folders up to 3 levels deep
✓ Secure individual folders with a separate PIN for added isolation
✓ Move, tag, and organize media in bulk with ease
✓ Deleted items are moved to a shredding bin before being permanently removed
✓ Back up and restore vault content to and from files at your convenience, without the cloud
🎭 Stay Invisible
✓ Disguise the vault app as a calculator, notes app, scanner, or something else entirely
✓ The built-in camera saves directly to the vault, without touching your phone's gallery
✓ A separate decoy vault behind its own PIN opens an unremarkable, harmless vault instead of your real one
🛡️ Know If Someone Tried
✓ Taking a wrong PIN can trigger a discreet photo of the intruder with your front camera
✓ A simple gesture instantly locks the vault from any screen
🤖 Search Your Vault, Not Just Scroll
✓ On-device AI lets you search photos by what's in them, not by filenames or manually added tags
✓ Search text within photos: screenshots, receipts, documents, signs, and more
✓ On-device AI assistant helps you search and summarize your notes
✓ Automatically groups near-duplicates and burst photos to highlight the best shot
✓ Optionally organize photos by trips and places they were taken at
📤 Share Without Oversharing
✓ Strip location, camera, and other metadata from shared media
✓ Share photos and videos to other apps only when you want to, and for as long as you want them to be available
All AI features work exclusively on your device: nothing about your photos, videos, or notes is ever uploaded anywhere to be processed or organized.
The free version of Gravity Vault includes real encryption, PIN and biometric protection, recovery options, notes, and local backups. Paid content unlocks decoy vaults, app disguise, intruder detection, faster media imports, and on-device photo search.
