Provelity Auto Intelligence is a read-only OBD-II scanner that explains what
the vehicle actually returned — and what that answer is worth. Connect a
Bluetooth OBD-II adapter (ELM327-compatible), switch the ignition on and run
a guided check.
Built for the used-car buyer's real question: what is this car hiding?
- Standard engine codes with their status explained. A permanent code cannot
be cleared by any scan tool — the seller could not tidy it away before the
viewing.
- The conditions when a code appeared: rpm, load and temperature at the
moment of the fault, when the vehicle saved that snapshot (freeze frame).
- The honest price of a ""clean"" result: if the vehicle's self-tests have not
finished since its memory was cleared, the app says plainly that the
absence of codes proves nothing yet.
- Mileage from the engine computer when the vehicle reports it the
standardized way — independent of the dashboard.
- The engine software checksum (CVN): it changes after a reflash — compare
it between two checks.
- Real measured values with no invented zeros: ""not returned"",
""not supported"" and ""not tested"" are different things, and the app keeps
them apart.
- A PDF report you can save and show to the seller.
- Local scan history grouped per vehicle.
Important limits:
- the check covers only the standard OBD-II surface that responded;
- ABS, airbags, transmission, AWD and manufacturer-specific modules may not
be supported;
- no standard codes does not mean the whole car is healthy;
- the result does not replace a physical inspection or a qualified mechanic;
- coverage depends on the vehicle, the adapter, the Android device and the
conditions of the check.
The app writes nothing to the vehicle — it only reads. It works locally;
before the first upload of diagnostic data it separately explains the
purpose and asks for consent.
This is a test version: it exists to verify compatibility on real vehicles
and adapters and may contain unfinished features.
Read-only used-car check: codes, their context, an honest PDF report.
