About this app
Live captions and translation for anyone listening to English — in meetings, videos, and live streams. With MeTranslator, the microphone picks up speech (in English), the app transcribes on your phone, and shows the translation right away. Great for remote work, studying, and international content.
Important: in voice / meeting / video with captions mode, speech recognition is built for English; you choose the target language from Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Japanese. For photos and images, you set source and target among those languages (translation from text detected in the image).

Transcribe and translate speech live. Handy for video calls and conversations, with clear pickup of spoken English.
YouTube and Vimeo
Paste a video or live link; follow the translation on screen while you watch (when using the microphone is practical).
Audio privacy
Speech recognition uses an offline model on your device. We do not store your audio or send it to our servers. Translation uses Google ML Kit with on-device models (after you download the languages).
Photo and camera (OCR)
Pull text from images (works best with the Latin alphabet) and translate with configurable language pairs. Includes a camera mode with an on-screen overlay.
Split view and spoken translation
Show the original, the translation, or both. Tap the text to hear pronunciation (with limits on the free plan).
History and export
History is saved on your device. On the free plan, the list only shows the most recent items up to a limit; exporting transcripts is a Premium feature.

• Free: usage with limits — for example up to 10 visible items in the session history, up to 5 spoken translation plays per day, and up to 2 image translations per day.
• MeTranslator Premium (one-time purchase): expanded history in the list, unlimited image translations per day, unlimited spoken translation, and transcript export.
