The PumpSpy app alerts you in the event of your sump pump malfunctioning, high water alert, power loss and other important events. You can act to prevent water damage before flooding can occur. View real-time current conditions, pump activity and alert status.

Worked fine until recent update, now crashes every time I try to run it. Update: uninstalling and reinstalling fixed the issue, for now. I'm sure I'll have to do it again at some point though. Update: yep, I regularly have to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to work. It'll work for a week or so before it just crashes every time and needs to be reinstalled.

11/24 Update: in a word, horrible. Installation was easy and fast, but soon after...it just crashed UPDATE: The PumpSpy support was outstanding and fixed my issue quickly. To date, it has worked FLAWLESSLY and I recommend to anyone with any concerns. Update: after a couple of years, it pretty much worked until 2 days ago. Now ot just does not connect to their servers and I have not been getting alerts anymore. I downgraded to 3 stars for the years it worked. Might just be end of support.

Crashing. Have to have the app for the tool to be functional. Hopefully a reinstall will fix it. Advice was to clear the cache. Nope. I have to uninstall and reinstall every few months. UPDATE Here's the claim from the website - "Easy to Use & Always On" It fails on the device occasionally after a power fail and on the app about once a month. Update 2021- never buy this product because the software doesn't work.
