About this app

Mega Brightness is the very simple widget that allows you to change the screen brightness. There are two versions of widget: horizontal and vertical.

It has two buttons "+" and "-" to change brightness up and down. Brightness is changed incrementally according to predefined levels set in configuration. Widget can also show notification after every brightness change.

Try this tiny widget and you will certainly find it useful :)

Instructions:
1. Install application.
2. Run app from menu and set custom brightness levels. Use values from range 1 (darkest) to 255 (brightest) separated by comma in ascending order (for example: "50,100,200,255").
3. Click button 'Grant WRITE permission if needed.' and grant the permission in opened window.
4. Save configuration.
5. Put widget on screen.
6. Use widget buttons +/- to set brightness level.

Troubleshhoting:
If widget is not working mak sure WRITE permission is added (as described above).

Ratings and reviews

It doesn't give extra or mega or whatever different brightness! Same as the integrated brightness control! The idea behind an app like this should be to give you the option of getting additional brightness! For example, when you are under the bright sun, you get additional brightness that otherwise you can't control! The idea is to be able to control that additional brightness! Stupid app, totally useless!!

The app works as far as what the description is but it does not work according to the the title word of the app itself which implies that it would increase or give exceptional brightness to the screen.... Simply allows you to set up increments of brightness based upon the phone model and the brightness that it originally had

Seems better than what is in 'settings'. But my tiny problem persists. When automatic: 'my comfort setting' can't be controlled and it can't be transferred to 'auto'. Reactionspeed the same problem. Depth of regulation of brightness the same. But.. I use Mega Brightness for now. It helps.
